Keep It Up!

Excellent job on the episode, it didn't feel as GRAND as the first episode did, but then again I guess it was a little more side-story ish. I saw it as a more funny episode (my face lit up when Krib said "It's only 11:11 especially), regardless it was nice to see the changes done to Sniperwheel, Asterob, and Splat (excellent voice work from them by the way) and to give Gamecrazed a little more focus since honestly I felt he was pushed aside in the first episode.

The episode definately had it's moments writing wise, but like I said it feels much more side-storyish than the first one like I've said. The "grid" battle felt improved from the first episodes though...it still feels a little lacking but it's at least nice to see it's sort of an area where a person is stuck in a small area to make sure no one joins in and interrupts the battle. Other than that, can't complain about too much. Other than that I had fun watching it still.

Keep up the good work.

A Welcome Return

Ah so good to see this series getting a reboot. I do enjoy alot of the changes in the story, characters, and other ideas you've done with the series. I'm little surprised Alpha is ALREADY better than Kirbopher at the moment, and feel a little sorry that Gamecrazed didn't seem to do much this first episode. Regardless everyone had voices that felt like they fit very well with their characters. The changes to Nylocke, Rockoon, and Doubling just made them all the more humorous and fun. And honestly the scene where Alpha talks to "Kajet" was very creepy and nerve-wracking.

The only real things I'm not a big fan of is the "Grid Battles" they don't seem all that different from the other battles, I can understand not wanting to rip off Megaman Battle Network but I still can't help but feel you could have made it more interesting or just left it out until you could figure out what to do with it. I'm also not entirely thrilled to see Gamecrazed as a more reserved and quiet character, I understand the change and it IS fitting but I am going to miss Gamecrazed not being as interactive with the cast as he used to be (considering he used to tell the occasional joke, or threaten to beat the snot of Kirb) I also feel a little sad he doesn't have a rivalry with Doubling (and the possibly return rivalry of Splat/Cosmic Debris/whatever her new name may be), but I suppose I'll have to wait and see if that idea is completely removed or not.

Regardless it was pretty long, alot of fun, laughs all around, and honestly it felt Nostalgic. It reminded me of the day I randomly came across the original "TTA" series you made only it improved and is just proof how far you've come since then.

Excellent job, I'm glad this series is getting another chance and it's gonna be a long month to have to wait for the next episode but I'm sure the next one will be well worth the wait.

It's Illuminating

It's a very beautiful looking piece the backgrounds and colors all are amazingly beautiful. The characters are drawn well though I think you could have done a little better on animating them when they moved but they didn't come close ruin a good short movie. Their dialogue was well written (maybe a little corny but fit the mood), and you got some good voice actors to play them. And the music worked well too. Work on making the characters a little more animated and it'll be golden. Beautiful short piece can't work to see it continued.

Needs to be about 20% cooler

I know I'm giving this a lower score than most of the obvious pony fans will. But I did have some problems with the game. Like everyone (or dare I say everypony) pointed out very short, not that most flash games are very long but it was pretty quick and pretty easy for the most part. The music, graphics, and story were all pretty good for the 8-bit feel. Though this is probably better than any other My Little Pony that exists on an actual console or PC game. Nice job but I would have liked it to be longer and would have loved to have seen more familiar faces from the show. Regardless, great job especially with that creative spooky story. Hope to see a hopefully longer game one day.

Satisfactory

Wow. I'm very impressed with this. You sir most likely worked your ass off to make this and in making it you've proven you're a true Madness Combat fan and other fans will love this game.

Characters: You brought a ton of characters from the Madness series from it's characters like Hank, Deimos, Sanford, Jesus, Tricky, the Auditor, even the Sheriff makes a cameo appearance. You brought many of the enemies from the series as well. The only character I think you might have missed (or I might have missed) was the Sun. But no big deal if he's left out.

Weapons and Armor: Excellent amount of there's all sorts of combinations to figure out how to make your team a dangerous force to be reckoned with. Though I'm still missing one set so I may be wrong. I would have loved a Jesus set of armor and maybe the Chainsaw, but doesn't ruin the game still great to play.

I'm glad you didn't chose a level up system cause 1. It would have probably made this game harder. 2. Eliminates grinding.

There's some replay Value thanks to Medals and trying to find all the rooms (I'm still missing ONE room though so I'm still playing) and I'm pretty impressed it takes quite a few hours to get through the whole game, be nice if it was longer but you already probably your ass off on this and you're apparently planning a sequel so I won't complain about it any further.

I was a little sad to see Jesus was the easiest of the bosses and it raises the question how zombies are still showing up if you killed Jesus (ehh probably the Improbablity Drive or something). Shame you didn't fight the Auditor himself but you're probably saving it for the sequel.

Another really random question. What's with the random room that leads you to space? Does this actually do something cause I'm stumped here.

Well regardless good game, and I'll undoubtedly play this multiple times. Great job best of luck with the sequel and take your time with it.

Great Game

This is a great fighting game and I love it but I can't help but nitpick one thing that always bothers me.

Where's Pico's Uzis? He's seen wielding them in the main menu, and he's mentioned having them in Hank's storyline but he never actually uses them. It'd be nice if he at least used them for one attack. But whatever it doesn't ruin the game.

Regardless definately one of the best fighting games Newgrounds has to offer and honestly I think a sequel would sell well if it were a downloadable game or something on X-box Live. Hopefully if a sequel is planned we'll see more characters, maybe more moves, and some other neat tricks.

Ideally we see more GinjaNinjaowo in the future but I guess time will tell.

Nothing special just a guy who watches the work people put on here. Posting art now like....over a decade later.
